About Jeff Durant, MD of Otium Partners Limited

Who is Jeff?

Jeff Durant is the Managing Director of Otium Partners, an established Lending and Financial Consultancy Business based in Bristol. Jeff is an avid Rugby fan and is well known for his long career in both Private and Commercial Banking.

 

Past Experience?

Jeff draws on over 30 years of experience in a range of leadership roles in the banking sector including Senior Manager at Allied Irish Bank (GB), Senior Partner in the Corporate team at Clydesdale Bank and latterly Head of Private Banking at Duncan Lawrie Private Bank, where he was responsible for over 50 staff.

These roles integrated his range of banking knowledge with the development of teams and businesses. Jeff’s experience in growing teams and understanding all aspects of a client’s needs in Private and Commercial banking has enabled him to be a well-known expert when dealing with any type of Lending request.  From this base, Jeff is able to help clients make long-term plans, with flexibility that works for them.

 

About Otium Partners

In 2017 Jeff launched Otium Partners; a Lending and Financial Consultancy.

As a Lending Consultancy, Otium Partners assists families and their businesses with all their borrowing requirements; whether it is asset acquisition, refinancing existing debt facilities, or raising finance to support growth, Otium Partners assists with getting the job done and relieving financial stress.

Within its’ Financial Consultancy, Otium supports clients with business planning, strategy and change management. Jeff works with a wide variety of specialist partners to deliver solutions in areas including tax, legal, pension & investments and real estate. Jeff’s ethos is to build long-term relationships with clients to assist them in reaching their business and personal goals.

 

Personal interests

Outside of work, Jeff is an avid rugby fan and past Captain and Chairman of Clevedon rugby club. He now spends more time supporting Bristol Bears. He is also a keen golfer and former cricketer.

His love of rugby also extends to the role of Treasurer for Bristol, Bath & Somerset Region of Wooden Spoon. This amazing charity funds life-changing projects that support children and young people with disabilities or living in disadvantage. He is also an active member of the Finance & Investment Committee of Quartet Community Foundation, supporting thousands of people with grant funding through local frontline charities and voluntary groups.
